St. Louis University-Grand Hall

Grand Hall is the newest student housing building at SLU. The 7 level, concrete-frame structure houses 528 first- and second-year students. It also contains classrooms, a conference room, meeting and study rooms, floor lounges and kitchen. Grand Hall also features a new 740 seat dining hall complete with a fireplace, and an outdoor courtyard. Achieving LEED Silver certification, the building was constructed of 20 percent recycled and 20 percent regional materials. The building is positioned to maximize sun exposure for daylight harvesting.
