Rockwool Manufacturing Facility

469,000 SF insulation facility plant with forty-one different structures. The plant produces stone wool insulation from lava rock for building insulation, customized solution for industrial applications, acoustic ceilings, and other applications. The design team worked very closely with the Rockwool to coordinate equipment loads and locations due to tight constraints. The site has over fifteen building structures, three large chimney stacks up to 215 ft. tall, two large tank farms, and other various smaller structures, such as pipe racks.
