Project Highlights
Alper Audi has designed over 25 fulfillment facilities for Amazon over the past 5 years of varying sizes. The largest facility includes an 823,522 GSF ground level, 350,000 GSF sortation mezzanine level, and 4-levels of elevated floors totaling 2.7 Million GSF for robotic storage/retrieval system. Our design team utilizes 3-D modeling to collaborate among each discipline to alleviate clashes in the field to maintain strict, fast-track schedule and quickly respond to continuing owner changes for on-time delivery of these unique facilities. The slab on grade and metal deck are designed for strict floor settlement/deflection, floor flatness/levelness and performance criteria. Each of their mission critical facilities are designed for tight head clearances to minimize the overall building height and are designed to strict floor deflection and beam rotation restrictions to ensure unobstructed robotic movement. The development includes office appendage, guard house, and fire pump house and tank.
