Greg Klimek is passionate about engineering. Since joining Alper Audi in 2002 and becoming a partner in 2015, Klimek has collaboratively designed new structures constructed across the nation and built of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, masonry and timber. He also has worked on complicated building renovations. Several of his projects have earned local and national awards for their complexity and engineering ingenuity.

Klimek excels at presenting cost-effective design under deadline pressure and is skilled at applying cutting-edge engineering software to produce advanced computer models for his institutional, commercial, industrial and public sector clients.

Klimek is recognized within the firm for the diversity of his project experience which he uses to guide the technical advancement of the firm and the mentoring of younger colleagues.

Education Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering (2001), and Master’s degree, Structural Engineering (2002), Washington University in St. Louis.

Industry Engagement American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Council of Engineering Companies of Missouri (ACEC-MO), American Institute of Architects (AIA)-St. Louis, American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Associated General Contractors (AGC) of St. Louis.

In the Community Greg Klimek volunteers his time coaching youth soccer for the Catholic Youth Council (CYC).
